Aluminum Kitchen Installation Technician

Job Title: Kitchen Installation Technician

Location: [Khamis Mushayt]

Reports To: Installation Manager / Project Supervisor

Department: Installation / Field Services

Job Summary:

The Kitchen Installation Technician is responsible for the accurate and professional installation of modular kitchens, cabinetry, countertops, appliances, and related fixtures at customer sites. This role ensures that installations are completed according to design plans, manufacturer guidelines, and client expectations while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install modular kitchen components including base and wall cabinets, countertops, sinks, backsplashes, appliances, and hardware.
  • Read and interpret installation plans, blueprints, and layout drawings.
  • Measure and level units to ensure correct alignment and secure fitting.
  • Make necessary adjustments or modifications on-site for a perfect fit.
  • Handle and transport kitchen units and materials carefully to avoid damage.
  • Seal joints and apply finishing materials as needed for a polished appearance.
  • Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, and other contractors when required.
  • Inspect completed installations to ensure functionality and quality.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and resolve any on-site issues or concerns.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
  • Follow safety regulations and use proper PPE during installation work.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or technical certificate in carpentry, interior installation, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in kitchen or cabinet installation preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, levels, measuring tape).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and floor plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Good problem-solving and on-the-spot adjustment skills.
  • Excellent physical condition and ability to lift heavy items (up to [X lbs]).
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites.

Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily performed at client sites (residential or commercial).
  • Exposure to noise, dust, and various building materials.
  • May involve long hours, tight deadlines, and occasional weekend work.
  • Requires use of PPE such as safety boots, gloves, and eye protection.
