Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Home Automation Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot smart home and ELV systems for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in smart automation devices, CCTV systems, networking, and low-current installations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Install smart home systems including smart switches, dimmers, sensors, thermostats, and automation controllers
- Configure and test home automation applications and devices
- Install CCTV cameras, video intercoms, and access control systems
- Perform cable pulling, conduit installation, and device mounting
- Configure Wi-Fi routers, access points, and networking equipment
- Troubleshoot system faults and perform maintenance visits
- Conduct testing and commissioning of installed systems
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and clients on-site
- Maintain accurate service and installation reports
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in smart home or ELV installation
- Knowledge of automation systems, CCTV, and networking
- Ability to use installation tools and testing equipment
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills
