Lead, Teach, and Play: Snapology is Hiring an Activities Coordinator!
Position Overview: Snapology is expanding! We are looking for a STEAM instructor. As a STEAM Education Instructor at Snapology, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging, hands-on learning experiences to children in a fun and educational environment. Your role will involve teaching key STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) concepts through creative and interactive activities like robotics, coding, and engineering challenges. You will also serve as a point of contact for parents, explaining program benefits and encouraging enrollment in Snapology's programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate STEAM-related classes, workshops, and camps for children aged 2-14, using Snapology's curriculum.
- Lead interactive activities in robotics, engineering, coding, and other STEAM subjects.
- Create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, teamwork, and creativity.
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and the educational value of Snapology programs.
- Promote and sell Snapology programs to parents, helping to increase enrollment and engagement.
- Assist with classroom setup and breakdown, ensuring materials and equipment are prepared for each session.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of various learning styles and age groups.
- Monitor and manage student behavior to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated with Snapology's curriculum and teaching methods.
Qualifications:
- Passion for working with children and interest in STEAM education.
- Previous experience in education, camp instruction, or children's programs is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to explain complex STEAM concepts in an age-appropriate and engaging manner.
- Flexibility and creativity in handling different learning environments and student needs.
- Sales or customer service experience is a plus.
