Core Turnaround End User Team | Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Project

Location: Qatar

Contract: 6 Months - Extendable

Position: Instrument Engineer

Total Salary: QR 7,400 / Month

SALARY BREAKDOWN

• Basic Salary: QR 4,000
• Food Allowance: QR 600
• Site Allowance: QR 1,500
• Other Allowance: QR 1,300

Working Hours: 8 Hours/Day

Working Days: 5 Days/Week

Key Responsibilities

▪ Plan, review & coordinate instrumentation turnaround/shutdown work scopes and execution activities.

▪ Provide technical support for instrumentation maintenance, calibration, testing, replacement, commissioning & start-up.

▪ Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HSE, contractors & specialist vendors.

▪ Support DCS, PLC, ESD/SIS, F&G, control valves, transmitters, analyzers & critical instrumentation activities.

▪ Monitor turnaround progress and resolve technical issues to ensure timely completion.

▪ Support loop checking, functional testing, interlock & Cause-and-Effect testing and system restoration.

▪ Ensure compliance with plant standards, HSE requirements, PTW/LOTO, quality procedures and turnaround schedules.

▪ Review punch lists, testing records, documentation and final handover.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electronics or related discipline.

8-12 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, GTL, LNG, Refinery or Petrochemical plants.

Strong Turnaround / Shutdown experience from an End User / Owner perspective is ESSENTIAL.

Strong knowledge of Instrumentation Maintenance, DCS/PLC, SIS/ESD, F&G, Control Valves, Analyzers, Calibration & Commissioning.

Experience with SAP PM / Maintenance Systems & Turnaround Planning is an advantage.

Strong coordination and multidisciplinary team management skills.

Important

ONLY candidates with Shutdown / Turnaround Planning & Maintenance experience will be considered.
