Qualifications
- Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering (or equivalent)
- Must have at least of 3–4 years experience in instrumentation and control maintenance within power generation, desalination, utilities, or oil & gas industries.
- Hands-on experience with control valves, actuators, transmitters, PLC systems, LT/HT drives, analyzers, sensors, switches, and instrument calibration.
- Proficient in SAP/CMMS, P&ID interpretation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration, and OEM maintenance standards.
- Certified or trained in First Aid, CPR, Emergency Fire Fighting, H₂S, Process Safety, and knowledgeable in Permit-to-Work (PTW), risk assessments, and HSE procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems to maximize plant reliability and availability.
- Maintain and repair control valves, transmitters, analyzers, PLC systems, LT/HT drives, sensors, switches, and other plant instrumentation in accordance with OEM standards.
- Execute maintenance work orders using SAP/CMMS, maintain accurate maintenance records, and prepare calibration and defect rectification reports.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, Permit-to-Work systems, risk assessments, safety procedures, and proper handling of analytical chemicals and test equipment.
