Key Responsibilities
• Client Consultation
• Engage with business clients to understand operations, risks, and current insurance challenges. Identify gaps in existing policies and offer strategic advice on suitable insurance solutions.
• Policy Design & Customization
• Develop tailored insurance packages combining medical and general coverage. Collaborate with underwriters and insurance providers to negotiate favorable terms that align with client objectives.
• Policy Management & Renewals
• Proactively manage the renewal process. Adjust coverage based on evolving business needs and risk profiles. Provide guidance on policy utilization when required.
• Market Intelligence
• Keep up to date with market trends, new insurance products, and regulatory changes affecting the corporate insurance landscape.
• New Business Development
• Attend networking events, industry seminars, and workshops to build relationships with prospective clients and remain informed of industry developments.
Candidate Requirements
• Demonstrated experience as an insurance broker, with a strong focus on the B2B market
• Expertise in both medical and general insurance products and how they apply to corporate clients
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Ability to foster and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
• 3–7 years of experience in medical or health insurance brokerage, in the UAE
• Proven B2B client handling experience in employee benefits, group medical insurance, or corporate health plans
• Prior experience working with or for reputable brokers (e.g. Howden, Marsh, Bayzat, AFIA, Pacific Prime)
