Job Title: Insurance Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi – Yas Island
Job Purpose
The Insurance Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all insurance-related matters across the organization, ensuring adequate coverage, compliance, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation. The role covers multiple insurance lines including medical, group life, risk, asset, and service-related insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end insurance portfolio for the company, including:
- Medical Insurance
- Group Life Insurance
- Risk and Liability Insurance
- Asset Insurance (property, vehicles, equipment)
- Service and Operational Risk Coverage
- Develop and implement insurance strategies aligned with business and operational requirements.
- Assess organizational risk exposures and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Liaise with insurance brokers, providers, and underwriters to negotiate coverage terms, costs, and renewals.
- Oversee policy placements, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Ensure compliance with UAE insurance regulations and internal policies.
- Manage insurance claims processes, including documentation, follow‑up, and settlement.
- Analyze claims trends and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
- Coordinate with HR on employee-related insurance schemes (medical and group life).
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Property Management, and Operations teams on insurance-related matters.
- Prepare reports on coverage, claims, premiums, and risk exposure for senior management.
- Review contracts and service agreements to ensure appropriate insurance and risk coverage is in place.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining adequate risk protection.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional insurance or risk management certifications are an advantage.
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant insurance management experience.
- Strong understanding of the UAE insurance market and regulatory framework.
- Proven experience handling multiple insurance classes and complex portfolios.
- Experience within real estate, property management, facilities management, or services sectors is preferred.
