Job Summary:
Responsible for managing all insurance-related activities across the fleet, including policy management, claims handling, risk assessment, and coordination with insurers and internal stakeholders to ensure cost efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and renew all fleet insurance policies (comprehensive, third-party, etc.)
- Handle end-to-end claims management process (FNOL, assessment, settlement, recovery)
- Coordinate with insurance companies, brokers, and surveyors
- Analyze claims data and identify trends to reduce loss ratios
- Ensure compliance with local insurance regulations and company policies
- Review accident reports and determine liability
- Work closely with operations and fleet teams to minimize risks
- Negotiate premiums, coverage terms, and service level agreements
- Monitor insurance costs vs. budget and recommend optimization strategies
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting for all insurance activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Insurance, or related field)
- 5–10+ years of experience in insurance within:
- Automotive sector
- Car rental / fleet management companies
- Strong knowledge of:
1-Motor insurance policies
2-Claims handling & recovery
3-Fleet risk management
- Experience dealing with major insurance providers and brokers
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
