Assist with management of all responsibilities associated with insurance for DP World including managing insurance policies, reviewing and maintaining contracts, administer insurance claims, including communication between internal & external brokers, insurers, etc. in line with Finance departmental standards.
Key Responsibility
- Main focal point for all insurance related work
- Adhere to existing Insurance policy
- Process/Approve insurance claims
- Follow up on outstanding insurance claims
- Improve & Automate existing processes while ensuring consistency in process/polices
- Complete Insurance questionnaires as required by Head Office Insurance team
- Collate data collected to identify claim trends and loss control opportunities
- Administer insurance claims, including communication between internal & external brokers, insurers, etc.
- Monitor and record the premium payment tracking process for Property/Liability programs via liaising with site representatives, brokers and insurers on timing of payments.
- Ensure adequate financial management of insurance through accurate data input, and allocation to the correct part of the business, managing invoicing and credits as well as raising dispute matters to the concerned parties
- Manage relationships internally and externally to streamline gathering of data.
- Develop and deliver presentation material for internal reporting and information
- Perform other related duties as assigned
