Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Insurance Sales Manager based in Cairo, Egypt, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Insurance Sales Manager will lead and develop a sales team to achieve targets for insurance products, including planning, forecasting, and pipeline management. Daily responsibilities include coaching and mentoring team members, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing sales strategies aligned with MetLife's business goals. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing guidance on suitable insurance solutions, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. The Insurance Sales Manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing and finance, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and prepare regular sales reports and business reviews.
Qualifications

  • Strong Insurance Sales and general Insurance knowledge, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in Customer Service, with the ability to handle complex customer needs and deliver a positive, solutions-focused experience.
  • Solid understanding of Finance concepts relevant to insurance products, pricing, and profitability.
  • Demonstrated Team Management skills, including coaching, performance management, and motivating diverse sales teams.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics, or related field) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, manage time and priorities, and use CRM and sales tools proficiently.
  • Previous experience in the insurance or financial services sector in Egypt or the region is an advantage.
