Role Description This full-time Insurance Sales Representative role is a hybrid position based in Alexandria, Egypt, with a combination of in-office and work-from-home arrangements. The Insurance Sales Representative will engage prospective and existing customers to understand their needs, recommend suitable insurance solutions, and close sales in line with MetLife's standards and policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting sales calls and meetings, preparing and presenting insurance proposals, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and policies. The role also involves providing ongoing customer service, assisting clients with policy inquiries and changes, and coordinating with internal teams and insurance brokerage partners when needed. The Insurance Sales Representative is expected to meet sales targets, follow regulatory and compliance requirements, and contribute to a customer-centric sales culture.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Sales, with the ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals effectively.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide a positive, professional experience for clients.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance and Insurance Brokerage to explain products clearly, compare options, and support customers in selecting appropriate coverage.
- Relevant experience in financial services or insurance is beneficial, along with familiarity with local market regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in basic office software and CRM tools, are preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams is important.
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is advantageous, though equivalent professional experience may be considered.
