Role Description The Insurance Sales Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Cairo, Egypt, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role focuses on identifying prospective customers, explaining MetLife Egypt's life, accident, and health insurance products, and recommending solutions aligned with each customer's needs and financial goals. The Insurance Sales Specialist will conduct client meetings, prepare and present proposals, follow up on leads, and manage a sales pipeline to achieve individual and team targets. Daily responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, supporting policy issuance and renewals, coordinating with internal teams and brokerage partners, and maintaining accurate records in company systems. The role also involves staying updated on market trends, regulatory requirements, and product updates to ensure ethical, informed, and compliant sales practices.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of Insurance Brokerage and distribution channels, including working with partners and intermediaries.
  • Experience in Health Insurance products and solutions, with the ability to explain coverage and benefits clearly.
  • Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, consultative communication, and relationship building.
  • Relevant sales or insurance certifications are an advantage; a university degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and handle multiple client accounts.
  • Proficiency in business communication, basic MS Office tools, and CRM systems; fluency in Arabic with good English skills is beneficial.
  • High ethical standards, attention to detail, and resilience in a target-driven, customer-focused environment.
