MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The Insurance Specialist provides expert operational and analytical support to insurance, RCM, and front office teams across the group. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with evolving insurance regulations, coordinating audits, analysing rejection trends, and training teams on policy updates. The Insurance Specialist plays a key role in optimizing insurance-related workflows and ensuring consistency in communication and standards across all business units.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Provide daily operational and specialist support and guidance to insurance and RCM teams

Monitor and manage internal company liaison and communication regarding insurance changes

Manage and monitor payer audits, reconciliations, and regulatory audits across the group

Maintain and monitor correct use of the Company's Insurance Master

Conduct ongoing analysis of rejection trends across the group

Plan and conduct group training on insurance policy changes

Required Education

Relevant certifications in medical coding, insurance management, or revenue cycle operations.

Preferably Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a Medical-related field.

Required Experience

At least 5 years of relevant insurance experience in a hospital, insurance company, or TPA, including supervisory experience.

Required Job Skills And Knowledge

  • Medical terminology
  • Negotiation skills
  • Client service principles and best practice
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Medical insurance terminologies and process
