Experience: 8+ Years
Domain: Banking & Financial Services
Work Arrangement: On-site / Hybrid, as applicable
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect to drive the execution and delivery of an already-approved Oracle integration architecture across the enterprise.
The role is primarily focused on integration coordination, architecture governance, delivery management, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will ensure that integrations between Oracle platforms—including Fusion, SaaS/PaaS—and various source and downstream systems, including core banking and adjacent platforms, are implemented in accordance with approved architecture and design standards.
The role will serve as a key coordination point between the Oracle implementation/technology partner, internal architecture and technical teams, security, network, application teams, and business stakeholders.
Strong working knowledge of APIs, including REST and Swagger/OpenAPI, is required. Hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is advantageous but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and coordinate the execution of the approved enterprise integration architecture and ensure integrations are delivered in line with agreed design and architecture standards.
- Coordinate end-to-end implementation of integrations between Oracle platforms and various source/downstream systems, including core banking and surrounding applications.
- Translate approved architecture and design documents into actionable execution plans and delivery activities.
- Create, maintain, and update architecture diagrams, integration blueprints, interface specifications, and technical documentation as required.
- Review existing integration and architecture documentation and ensure it accurately reflects the current implementation state and approved changes.
- Apply working knowledge of REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, API contracts, API lifecycle management, and integration principles to review designs and support issue resolution.
- Coordinate with the Oracle implementation/technology partner on support tickets, incidents, defects, technical queries, and integration-related activities.
- Act as the central coordination point between Oracle partners and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of technical dependencies and blockers.
- Work closely with security, network, infrastructure, enterprise architecture, application, and engineering teams to obtain required approvals and resolve integration dependencies.
- Track and drive closure of integration-related actions, risks, issues, dependencies, and open technical items across multiple workstreams.
- Support integration testing, system integration testing, UAT, cutover, deployment, and go-live activities.
- Identify and escalate risks that may impact integration delivery, timelines, quality, security, or compliance.
- Participate in and represent integration delivery status during architecture reviews, design governance forums, technical workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure integration implementations and changes comply with agreed security, governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide practical delivery-level input to architecture and design discussions while ensuring adherence to the approved target architecture.
