Job Title: Integration Specialist
Job Purpose
The Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting system integrations between SAP, third-party applications, and Microsoft platforms. The role ensures secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange using APIs, SAP integration technologies, and Microsoft Power Platform, enabling seamless business processes across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
SAP & Enterprise Integration
- Design and implement integrations between SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, BW) and third-party applications.
- Develop and support interfaces using SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and related middleware technologies.
- Enable data exchange between SAP and Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Build, test, and deploy API-based integrations (REST, SOAP, OData).
Microsoft Platform Integration
- Integrate SAP data with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate workflows, Power Apps, Dataverse).
- Enable document and data integration with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services.
- Support low-code/no-code solutions by providing secure and reliable backend integrations.
Design, Testing & Support
- Prepare integration design documents (HLD, LLD, interface specifications).
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT activities.
- Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
- Provide Level 2/3 operational support and ensure SLA compliance.
Security, Governance & Compliance
- Ensure integrations follow enterprise security, data governance, and compliance standards.
- Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, and recovery mechanisms.
- Support audits and documentation requirements.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with SAP functional teams, Microsoft platform teams, and business stakeholders.
- Recommend improvements to integration architecture and performance.
- Stay updated on new SAP and Microsoft integration capabilities and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in system integration roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or SAP BW integrations.
- Proven experience integrating SAP with Microsoft platforms (Power Automate, SharePoint, Dataverse).
- Experience working with API-based integrations and middleware solutions.
- Exposure to enterprise IT environments and managed services models is preferred.
Certifications (Preferred)
- SAP Certified Technology Associate Integration
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Consultant
