Job Description

We are looking for an Integration & Payments Support Engineer for a well-established electronic payments provider.

The candidate must possess around 5 years hands-on experience in system integrations and SW engineering knowledge, with a minimum of 3 years working on high-performance enterprise applications.

The candidate must be able to provide technical advice to our existing partners/ merchants and will provide support and consultancy after go-live for integration related queries. The role will be a mix of consultancy, training, support, documentation, integration with other systems, and troubleshooting. The activities are mainly focused on our platforms/ solutions and the way our partners/ merchants are using them in their environment. Key focus areas include optimization of conversion rates, risk management, payment acceptance integration, and many more.

The candidate must be a team player and have experience in teamwork but must be able to demonstrate skills required in analysis and troubleshooting of issues. Flexibility to work on shifts (including nights and weekends) is a must, remote work is allowed on periodic basis.

Previous work with ecommerce and payment related technologies will be huge advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Solution design - Serve as the technical consultant for our merchants during their integration with noon payments, ensuring and assisting on the technical integrity and quality of their integration to ours
  • Manage end-to-end MID onboarding across noon internal systems and external acquirer platforms
  • Support merchant onboarding on Cybersource (CYBS) and Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS), including MSO configurations
  • Validate MID setup, payment method enablement, currencies, and routing configurations
  • Work closely with acquirers, schemes, and third-party providers on production incidents
  • Consultation - Consult with the merchant on how to optimize payments using the noon payments platform
  • Code support - Supporting merchants on call or onsite with their technical integrations with noon payments ensuring quality and reliability of the implementations
  • Documentation - Create and maintain technical documentation of the product and processes and materials for operation staff
  • Organize the support stack (e.g. creating small samples, demos, etc.)
  • Guide merchants on best practices to ensure secure, reliable, and high-quality integrations and Review and validate merchant integrations prior to go-live
  • Work on shifts, nights, and weekends whenever required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science
  • 2-3 years of experience in systems integration and support in complex environments
  • Hands-on experience with payment gateways, acquirers, or PSPs
  • Experience with merchant onboarding, MID management, or acquirer integrations
  • Understanding of the card payment lifecycle
  • Basic knowledge of PCI-DSS standard or similar framework (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)

  • Basic experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Understanding of 3DS 2.x flows, tokenization, and wallet payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay etc)
  • Familiarity with payment gateways such as CYBS, MPGS, or similar platforms
  • Hands on with Postman
