Interior Designer

Role Description This part-time remote Interior Designer role is responsible for supporting project teams with interior design solutions that align with client objectives and project management principles. Day-to-day tasks include developing space plans, selecting finishes and materials, preparing construction and interior design drawings, and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specifications. The Interior Designer will collaborate with project managers and other consultants to ensure designs meet functional requirements, budget constraints, and quality standards. The role also involves reviewing design documents for accuracy, participating in virtual client meetings, and providing clear documentation and digital files that support efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional, aesthetic layouts.
• Proficiency in Architecture and Construction Drawings, including preparing and interpreting technical documentation.
• Experience with FF&E selection and coordination, ensuring compatibility with design intent, budget, and project requirements.
• Strong digital design skills (e.g., CAD/BIM tools, 3D visualization, and presentation software) and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with remote, cross-functional teams and clients.
• Relevant education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; professional experience in consulting or construction projects is a plus.
• Ability to manage part-time remote work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks within a project framework.
