Role Purpose

As a specialised FF&E Designer, you will deliver focus on FF&E design and specification services across QP's portfolio of high-end hospitality projects. Working closely with interior designers, and project teams, to take FF&E packages from concept through to procurement and installation, sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standards of quality and brand alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive concept direction with Senior leads and contribute original design solutions, with particular emphasis on FF&E selection and specification
• Develop concept layouts, key views, spatial principles, and design narratives
• Develop detailed FF&E specifications, including furniture layouts, custom designs, and finish schedules
• Source and select furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories that meet design, quality, and budgetary requirements
• Produce client facing presentations with high visual and logical quality
• Coordinate inputs from technical, FF&E, and BIM teams early to reduce rework
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers to obtain quotes and ensure FF&E is delivered on time and within budget
• Support the management of FF&E budgets, timelines, and procurement processes
• Conduct quality checks on FF&E samples and prototypes to ensure they meet design standards
• Support site visits and the installation of FF&E, ensuring design intent is maintained
• Support internal design reviews and guide junior concept designers

What you bring

• 5+ years experience in interior design, with a strong focus on FF&E
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Proven experience on hospitality projects
• Skilled in Adobe CC
• Understanding of FF&E procurement, budgets, and timelines
• Experience in spec writing is required
• Confident communication and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong portfolio with hospitality concepts and presentation excellence is an asset
• Operator and brand standards awareness is an advantage
