Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Interior Designer at idea.design located in Amman. The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing and creating visually appealing and functional spaces for our clients. The candidate must collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to identify clients needs and preferences, and to create detailed plans. The candidate will also have to uphold building codes and regulations, sustainability, accessibility, and other relevant design standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Interior Designer
• Expertise in 2D and 3D design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in space planning, furniture design, color theory, textiles, and lighting
• Excellent knowledge of building codes and regulations, sustainability, accessibility, and health and safety standards
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, contractors, and team members
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Interior Design or Architecture, or a related field
• Experience in residential, commercial, and hospitality designs
