Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing interior design works for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects while ensuring compliance with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning
Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts.
Prepare 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and detailed design presentations.
Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures in line with project requirements.
Ensure design compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Project Coordination
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and site engineers.
Review shop drawings and material submittals.
Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation.
Ensure design execution aligns with approved drawings and quality standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Present design concepts to clients and management.
Incorporate client feedback into final designs.
Provide BOQ input and cost-effective design alternatives.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare specifications, material schedules, and FF&E documentation.
Assist in project budgeting and cost control.
Maintain updated design records and revisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
38 years of experience in construction or real estate projects.
Experience In Residential And Commercial Fit-out Projects Preferred.
Knowledge of local authority approvals is an advantage.
