We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Interior Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative and functional design solutions. The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of design — from concept development and space planning to construction documentation, FF&E coordination, and client presentations.
This role requires an engaging, detail-oriented designer with a passion for architecture and interior design, capable of leading projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and consultants. An entrepreneurial mindset and forward-thinking approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the interior design scope across diverse project types, ensuring design excellence and alignment with client objectives.
- Develop creative and functional space plans, concept designs, and programming documents.
- Participate in the preparation of project schedules, deliverables, and construction documentation.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to guide design decisions and approvals.
- Oversee and coordinate FF&E selection, specifications, and budgeting, ensuring quality and project compatibility.
- Supervise and mentor junior designers, providing direction and feedback on design deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining design intent and meeting deadlines.
- Support the preparation and development of design proposals and presentations.
- Healthcare project experience is a plus.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in interior design, preferably in multidisciplinary environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Revit (including Revit rendering); experience with SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Strong graphic visualization and conceptual design skills to effectively communicate design intent.
- Thorough understanding of design processes, construction documentation, and project coordination.
- Proven leadership, team collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to act confidently and decisively in a dynamic, fast-paced design environment.
