We're hiring an Interior Designer Sales to drive Schneider Electric's engagement with the interior design and architecture community, influencing project specifications and creating demand for our smart home, energy management, and premium electrical solutions. And will be at the forefront of transforming ideas into reality by partnering with leading designers, consultants, and decision-makers across residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.

What will you do

  • Drive Schneider Electric's engagement with the interior design and architecture community, influencing specifications and generating business opportunities across residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.
  • Build and develop strategic relationships with interior designers, architects, design consultants, and key influencers to position Schneider Electric as a preferred partner for innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Drive specification sales by ensuring Schneider Electric products and solutions are selected and incorporated into project designs at the early stages.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new project opportunities, creating a strong pipeline of design-led business opportunities.
  • Conduct product presentations, design workshops, and engagement activities to increase awareness, preference, and adoption of Schneider Electric solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with distributors, contractors, developers, and internal sales teams to convert specifications into successful project wins and revenue growth.
  • Track project pipelines, market trends, and competitive activities to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support business planning.
  • Provide project support and technical guidance to designers and consultants, helping them select solutions that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.
  • Deliver sales targets and growth objectives while strengthening Schneider Electric's visibility and influence within the design and specification community.

What are the key skills we are looking for:

  • Sales & Business Development : ability to identify and develop new business opportunities , manage customer relationships and sales pipelines , having a proactive approach to prospecting and customer engagement to deliver business growth and achieve sales targets
  • Relationship Building & Networking : Ability to build trusted relationships with interior designers, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills :Confident presenter with the ability to communicate solutions effectively and conduct product presentations, workshops, and customer meetings.
  • Project & Opportunity Management : Manage multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously and keep tracking customer activities and project pipelines.
  • Customer-Centric & Consultative Selling :Understands customer needs and recommends appropriate solutions and focus on creating value and building long-term partnerships in addition to demonstrating a consultative approach rather than transactional selling.
  • Commercial Awareness : Understands the market dynamics and customer buying behavior and recognize commercial opportunities and support business growth initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork : Works effectively with sales teams, distributors, marketing teams, and project stakeholders and supports cross-functional initiatives to achieve business objectives.
  • Learning Agility & Growth Mindset : Eager to learn about the specification process, interior design ecosystem, and Schneider Electric solutions.

What qualifications will make you successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • From 2–3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or Project Sales.
  • Experience in specification sales, project sales, or channel sales
  • Exposure to interior designers, architects, consultants, contractors, or developers.
  • Experience in electrical products, smart home solutions, lighting, building materials, construction, or related industries.
  • Experience of using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms) for pipeline and customer management.
  • Existing network within the interior design and architecture community is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and develop new business opportunities.
  • Understanding Schneider Electric solutions, smart home technologies, or building infrastructure solutions is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI).
  • Fluent in English
