Interior Fit-Out Designer/ Detailer UAE

Position Overview:

As an Interior Fit-Out Designer / Detailer at UNICO MEA, you will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings and technical drawings for interior fit-out, joinery, doors, and related works. The role requires strong knowledge of construction details, materials, and UAE fit-out practices.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare detailed shop drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.

· Prepare and coordinate joinery and millwork drawings, RCP/ceiling layouts, floor finish layouts, furniture and fixture details, MEP coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.

· Develop drawings for joinery, doors, wall panels, ceilings, cabinetry, and other fit-out elements.

· Review architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

· Conduct site measurements and surveys and incorporate actual site conditions into drawings.

· Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, production, and site teams.

· Assist with material selection and ensure materials are suitable for design and execution requirements.

· Resolve design, technical, and site execution issues.

· Revise drawings based on client, consultant, and project team comments.

· Ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and suitable for production and installation.

· Ensure all drawings and deliverables are completed within project deadlines.

Required Skills:

· Strong knowledge of interior fit-out, joinery, doors, and construction detailing.

· Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp/Revit is an advantage.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

· Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

· 5 to 10 years of experience in interior fit-out, joinery, or technical detailing, preferably in the UAE.

· Experience in commercial offices, retail outlets, residential interiors, and hospitality projects.

· A team player, adaptable, and able to work under tight deadlines.
