Role Overview
We are seeking an
Intermediate Cloud Engineer with
7+ years of experience to design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in
containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly
Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes, and works closely with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Docker Compose.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters for production and non-production environments.
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot containerized workloads to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and improve deployment workflows.
- Implement best practices for scalability, security, and fault tolerance.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and environments in line with project and business requirements.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
- Perform incident response, root-cause analysis, and system recovery.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational runbooks.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Cloud, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of container networking, storage, and security.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with Linux systems and scripting.
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Helm and Kubernetes operators.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience supporting enterprise or government-scale systems in KSA.
- Cloud certifications (CKA, CKAD, AWS, Azure).
