About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail oriented Communications Intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in media relations, content creation, event coordination, and research within the financial services industry. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and passionate about communications and media.
Key Responsibilities
- Media Monitoring & Reporting
- Track news coverage related to Capital.com, financial services, and competitors.
- Prepare daily and weekly media summaries and share key insights with the team.
- Content Support
- Draft press releases, media pitches, and social media posts.
- Proofread and format content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Event Coordination
- Support logistics for media events, interviews, and webinars.
- Prepare briefing documents and speaker notes for Tarik and other stakeholders.
- Research & Analysis
- Conduct research on industry trends, journalists, and media outlets.
- Compile background information for interviews and speaking engagements.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain media contact lists and update databases.
- Organize files, track deliverables, and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare post-event reports and media coverage analysis.
- Document all activities for internal tracking and client reporting.
Qualifications
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English & Arabic.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
