Internal Audit Manager

Our Firm announces Job Vacancy Manager, Internal Audit Consulting Services.

Job Objective / Summary:

Manage the portfolio of internal audit consulting services for clients efficiently and effectively and lead the team to ensure the proper implementation of engagements in line with the agreed scope of work, while optimizing the utilization of available working hours and resources to support high-quality deliverables, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver added value to clients.

Job Responsibilities:

1- References

a. Keep up to date with the latest standards, legislation, regulations, and professional developments to ensure the application of best practices in internal audit consulting services.

b. Contribute to the development of in-house internal audit methodologies and tools in a way that enhances efficiency and service quality.

2-Engagements

a. Manage the internal audit portfolio through planning, organizing, and monitoring all tasks to ensure completion thereof within agreed timelines and required quality standards.

b. Prepare and/or review technical and financial proposals submitted to clients to ensure alignment with their requirements.

c. Prepare and/or review client engagement letters, ensuring clarity of the scope of work and mutual obligations prior to execution.

d. Oversee the implementation of engagements from initiation through closure, ensuring the delivery of added value to clients and achieving high levels of client satisfaction.

e. Prepare and/or review final reports, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with professional standards and applicable laws and regulations.

f. Maintain continuous coordination and communication with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations that support informed decision-making.

g. Manage risks related to internal audit engagements and ensure the availability of contingency plans to address them.

h. Prepare and deliver client presentations related to portfolio engagements.

3- Team

a. Lead teams and assign tasks in line with their competencies and experience and monitor their performance to ensure compliance with professional internal audit standards.

b. Develop and strengthen the professional capabilities of internal audit teams through ongoing training and hands-on coaching.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or any other relevant degree.

Professional Certificates:

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), or an equivalent qualification.

Experience:

• 10 years of experience in internal audit (preferably 5 years in international consulting firms).
• Experience in leading teams and developing their professional skills.
• Experience in managing engagement portfolios for clients operating across different sectors.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and relevant local regulations issued by regulatory authorities.
• Strong leadership skills in managing and motivating teams.
• Highly effective time and project management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English (reading, speaking, and writing).
