Job Summary:
The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for leading the internal audit function, assessing the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying business and operational risks, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. The role provides independent insights and recommendations to support better governance, risk management, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan based on business risks and organizational priorities.
- Lead internal audit engagements across financial, operational, commercial, and administrative functions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, procedures, and risk management practices.
- Identify control weaknesses, operational risks, and potential areas of financial or process inefficiency.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, root causes, risks, and practical recommendations.
- Follow up on agreed corrective actions and ensure timely implementation by responsible departments.
- Conduct investigations and special audits when required by management.
- Assess compliance with internal policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and applicable standards.
- Work closely with management and process owners to strengthen internal controls and improve business processes.
- Present significant audit findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or related fields.
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role in internal audit.
- Experience auditing multiple business functions and operational processes.
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, retail, or a similarly complex business environment is preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP systems and audit/data analytics tools.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends or anomalies.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
