PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Internal Auditor / Risk Analyst supports the Internal Audit function in executing operational audits and coordinating enterprise risk assessment (ERA) activities across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Internal Auditor and ultimately the Chairman, the role contributes to strengthening PSI's internal control environment and risk governance framework.
The position combines hands-on audit execution, risk documentation, and cross-departmental coordination, with a particular focus on sales-related functions including CRM, Interact, and Sales Operations. The role also supports the documentation, monitoring, and implementation of Internal Audit transformation initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
01. Internal Audit Execution
Assist in conducting operational audits across business and support departments.
Support audit planning, fieldwork, and testing under the supervision of the Senior Internal Auditor.
Prepare and maintain audit working papers ensuring proper documentation and evidence archiving.
Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and identifying improvement opportunities.
Maintain audit trackers, action plans, and follow-up logs to monitor remediation progress.
02. Sales Operations Audit Support
Support audit and diagnostic reviews related to sales operations and customer journey processes.
Assist in evaluating processes related to lead management, CRM systems, platform integrations, customer touchpoints, and sales performance monitoring.
Act as a liaison between Internal Audit and the CRM, Interact, and Sales Operations teams to facilitate information flow and audit coordination.
03. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Support
Assist in collecting departmental risks, controls, and mitigation measures as part of Enterprise Risk Assessment (ERA) activities.
Support the documentation and consolidation of risk inputs from business units.
Maintain and regularly update the central Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Risk Register.
Assist in tracking risk mitigation action plans and risk ownership across departments.
04. Stakeholder Coordination
Support meetings and discussions with department representatives to gather process and risk information.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely provision of audit documentation and responses.
Assist in preparing summaries and materials for internal reporting related to audit and risk activities.
05. Internal Audit Transformation Support
Assist in documenting improvements and initiatives within the Internal Audit function.
Support the implementation of audit methodologies, tools, and reporting improvements.
Contribute to the development of structured documentation and monitoring tools to enhance audit efficiency.
06. Other Duties
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A. Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, CPA, or CRMA are considered an advantage but are not mandatory.
B. Experience
Previous experience in internal audit, risk advisory, or consulting environments is preferred.
Exposure to audit engagements covering planning, fieldwork, testing, and reporting phases.
Experience supporting operational audits or risk assessments within corporate or consulting settings.
Experience interacting with stakeholders and conducting meetings to gather audit evidence and risk information.
Prior exposure to sales operations, CRM environments, or commercial processes is considered an advantage.
C. Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to document processes, risks, and controls in a structured and professional manner.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is preferred.
Previous consulting background is highly desirable, particularly in audit, risk advisory, or governance-related roles.
