Internal Medicine Consultant

We're Hiring: Consultant – Internal Medicine

At Makkah Medical Center, we continue to expand our medical services, and we are currently seeking a Consultant in Internal Medicine with the experience and passion to deliver the highest standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in outpatient clinics and inpatient wards
• Manage complex and critical cases in coordination with other specialties
• Supervise residents and registrars and contribute to teaching programs
• Comply with approved quality and patient safety standards (CBAHI / JCI)

Requirements:

MBBS / MD from a recognized medical school

Valid Consultant – Internal Medicine classification and registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)

Board certification (Saudi / Arab / American / Canadian / British) or equivalent recognized qualification

Solid experience managing inpatient, outpatient, and emergency internal medicine cases

Valid BLS and ACLS certification

Proven ability to manage multi-morbid and critically ill patients independently

Experience supervising and teaching residents and junior medical staff

Familiarity with accreditation and quality standards (CBAHI / JCI) and infection control protocols

Competent use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and accurate clinical documentation

Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage

Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia (transferable iqama for non-Saudi applicants)
