Job Title: Internal Recruitment Consultant

Reports to: Head of Talent Solutions

Direct Reports: Nil

Location: Hybrid - Dubai (UAE) with the expectation of travelling as necessary to other operating jurisdictions.

Our business presence covers multiple jurisdictions with offices in the UAE, KSA, UK & Ireland, Singapore, Porto, South Africa and Qatar. We provide Regulatory Governance, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Recruitment and Technology services (the Services) to a large number of clients including global, regional, and local financial services institutions, governments and other industry partners. As part of our global expansion plan, we are now looking for an ambitious and experienced Internal Recruitment Consultant to join our Talent Solutions Team.

Job Purpose

The core focus of this role will be to support the internal recruitment process and build a strong pipeline of candidates for internal positions across all jurisdictions. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from candidate sourcing, assessment, and placement while playing a key role in strengthening our brand presence. You will also prepare high-quality candidate packs, and contribute to marketing and communications initiatives that support our growth plans. This role requires a proactive, commercially minded individual who can deliver exceptional candidates across all roles in the GRC space.

Duties and Responsibilities

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers and team leads.
  • Set clear expectations on timelines, market realities, and selection processes with hiring managers.
  • Provide timely, transparent updates to hiring teams throughout the process.
  • Protect confidentiality and handle sensitive hiring information appropriately.

Recruitment & Candidate Management

  • Source, attract, and engage high caliber candidates using innovative sourcing strategies, social media platforms, and databases.
  • Screen and evaluate CVs and applications, producing high-quality candidate packs for internal review.
  • Conduct pre-interview assessments and provide ongoing support and guidance to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage offer negotiation, including compensation discussions, to secure successful placements.

Business Development & Market Intelligence

  • Employ creative marketing and advertising strategies to attract top talent and promote opportunities.
  • Gather and share market/candidate insights to inform hiring decisions.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline and nurture passive candidates for future roles.
  • Act as the main point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive and consistent experience.

Personal Responsibilities

  • Champion and strengthen the j. awan & partners Talent Solutions brand, ensuring it is recognized, trusted, and valued by both colleagues and clients.
  • Support the attraction, development, and retention of best-in-market recruitment talent to drive our growth in the UAE and global markets.
  • Act as an ambassador of the firm's values, contributing to a collaborative, professional, and high-performance culture.
