SUMMARY OF THE OVERALL JOB
The International Finance controller will manage international accounting, taxation ( including UAE direct and indirect taxes), and consolidation. The role will lead Global transfer pricing, global audits, IFRS accounting, cash flow management, local statutory compliances, entity accounting, treasury, banking relationships, Oversee Dubai payroll processing, provisioning, and controlling. The role involves developing tax planning strategies, managing global statutory projections (including P&L , cash flow and balance sheets) and consolidation, and liaising with regional controllers on taxation and flow matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a global environment.
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Manage international accounting operations and consolidation as per UAE Laws.
- Ensure compliance with UAE (direct and indirect taxes) and international tax regulations.
- Oversee transfer pricing documentation and policies.
- Coordinate and manage global audits.
- Develop tax planning and optimization strategies for UAE entity and globally.
- Monitor changes in international tax laws.
- Prepare and analyse cash flow forecasts.
- Implement cash management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.
- Oversee entity-level accounting and reporting.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely month-end closing processes.
- Develop global finance governance calendars.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Oversee payroll processing and compliance.

EDUCATION, EXPOSURE AND EXPERIENCE
- Chartered Accountancy with at least 7 to 10 years of experience.
- Candidates only with UAE experience and currently based out of Dubai will be considered.
- Additional qualifications will be an added advantage.
- FMCG/Pharma exposure will be preferred.
