In this position, the Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining
accurate inventory levels, ensuring proper stock management, and supporting
smooth warehouse and supply chain operations. This role ensures that inventory
records match physical stock, prevents shortages or overstock, and contributes
directly to operational efficiency and cost control.
MainResponsibilities (including But Not Limited To)
- Inventory Management
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventorylevels across all warehouses and stores.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts (cyclecounts & full inventory).
- Reconcile system inventory vs. physical stock and investigate discrepancies.
- Track stock movements, transfers,adjustments, and returns.
- Data Accuracy & Reporting
- Update inventory records in the ERP/WMS system.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Analyze trends in stock usage, slow-movingitems, and shortages.
- Provide insights to support forecasting and replenishment.
- Process Control & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with inventory policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support audits related to inventory and warehouse operations.
- Identify and correct root causes of inventory inaccuracies.
- Improve stock handling processes to reduce shrinkage and errors.
- Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance teams.
- Communicate discrepancies, risks, and recommended actions to management.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and labeling.
- Operational Support
- Monitor inventory of critical items and issue alerts for low stock.
- Support receiving and dispatch teams in verifying shipments and documentation.
- Assist in optimizing warehouse space and inventory flow.
Key Requirements
- Work Experience: 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain roles.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management concepts.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Understanding of stock valuation and inventory KPIs.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Clear communication and teamwork abilities.
Education & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree is required in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Language: Perfect command of both spoken & written in English and Arabic.
