Job Description

About this role:

  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels of construction materials, tools, and consumables across all Basatin sites.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and logistics partners for timely deliveries and site replenishments.
  • Support material requisitions from project teams, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and specifications.
  • Conduct regular physical verifications of materials and heavy equipment inventories, reconciling discrepancies.
  • Assist in purchase request preparation for new and replacement materials.
  • Track deliveries, manage supplier documentation, and follow up on pending orders.
  • Utilize SAP or equivalent ERP systems for inventory tracking, purchase planning, and consumption reports.
  • Generate and distribute periodic inventory status and variance reports to Project Managers.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and safety procedures are followed on-site for all heavy construction materials.

Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:

In addition to all job specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Basatin health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Khidmah HSE department regularly updates existing and introduce new policies, procedures and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions.

Information Security responsibilities:

  • Comply with Basatin Information Security Policies
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Proven experience managing logistics and inventory for large-scale construction projects.
  • Proficient in SAP/ERP systems and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of HSE compliance within construction settings.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, , or related field.
  2. Certification in Warehousing Management System is an added advantage.
  3. Supply Chain Management Certification is a plus
