Job Title: #InventorySpecialist

Duration: 6 months + extendable

Location: Dubai

Role Summary:

An Inventory Specialist manages the flow of goods, ensuring accurate stock levels through tracking, receiving, storing, and distributing items. They use software to enter and analyze data, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with teams to optimize efficiency, prevent losses, and meet demand.

Essential Responsibilities:

Inventory Control:

Conduct regular stock counts (cycle counts, physical inventories).

Track stock movement (in/out) and update records in the management system.

Receiving & Storage:

Accept deliveries and inspect for damage.

Sort and store items efficiently in warehouse space.

Distribution:

Pull and deliver stock to departments.

Process requisitions and manage special orders.

Data Management:

Maintain accurate computerized and manual records.

Analyze usage trends to set reorder points.

Warehouse Operations:

Plan space utilization and manage stock rotation.

Potentially train staff on warehouse procedures.

Essential Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 5 years in inventory, supply chain, or warehouse roles.

Skills:

Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems like Oracle, and Telnet.

Soft: Good communication skills in English.

Education: High school diploma/GED or higher.

Industry Experience: Preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.

Licenses: Driving license required.

Certifications: Preferred certification in Supply Chain.

Desirable Attributes:

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and inventory control principles.

Commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.

Adaptability to changing methods and customer needs.
