Job Description
- Evaluate potential investment opportunities across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and private markets
- Develop and maintain financial models to support investment analysis, including discounted cash flow models, sensitivity analyses, and scenario analyses
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and forecasting, to support investment decision-making
- Prepare and present investment recommendations to senior management, including investment memos and presentations
- Collaborate with investment team members to develop and implement investment strategies and portfolio construction recommendations
- Monitor and analyze market trends and industry developments to identify risks and opportunities for the investment portfolio
- Participate in due diligence activities, including analyzing financial statements, conducting company and industry research, and identifying potential risks and opportunities
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior investment team members
The Successful Applicant
- BS in Finance, Business Management, or Accounting
- Preferably CFA or similar accreditation
- Experience of 2-5 years of working as an Investment Analyst or similar role
- Knowledge of Project Management
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with market information systems and technical systems like Capital IQ, Factset or Bloomberg
- An analytical mind with a keen sense for mathematical patterns and correlations
- Fluency in English is required
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple tasks
- Able to work with little or no supervision
- Communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Time management skills
