We are seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to join a well-established investment organization in Qatar. This role is suitable for candidates with prior experience in financial institutions, such as banks, brokerage firms, asset management companies, or investment houses.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of local market investments through banks and brokerage platforms
- Evaluate and monitor equities, options, derivatives, fixed income instruments, and related financial products
- Prepare detailed investment research, valuation models, and market outlook reports
- Support portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk assessment activities
- Track market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory developments impacting investments
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external financial institutions to support investment decisions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Mandatory experience with financial institutions only (banks, brokerage firms, asset managers, investment companies)
- Strong hands-on experience in local market investments
- Solid understanding of equities, derivatives, options, and fixed income products
- Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently with high levels of confidentiality
- CFA (or progress toward CFA) is a strong advantage
