Investment Analyst (Private Markets)

Our client is a Dubai-based, highly institutional investment platform investing across private markets and alternative assets, often alongside leading international General Partners. The firm is seeking an Investment Analyst to support the full investment lifecycle across a broad range of sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Support the full deal cycle, including sourcing, evaluation, execution and ongoing portfolio management
- Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, scenario and return analysis)
- Conduct commercial, financial and market due diligence on direct investments and fund opportunities
- Prepare investment memoranda, analysis and presentations for internal decision-making
- Work closely with external advisors, GPs and co-investors throughout transaction processes
- Monitor portfolio performance, update valuations and support reporting and portfolio reviews
- Assist with analysis across alternative asset classes and opportunistic investments
- Provide ad-hoc research across sectors, maintaining a generalist investment approach
Profile:
- 1-3 years of experience in a buy-side role (private equity or asset management)
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
- Solid understanding of the investment process and portfolio management responsibilities
- Exposure to private markets and/or alternative investments
- Comfortable working across multiple sectors rather than specialising in one
- Highly professional, detail-oriented and intellectually curious
- Fluent English is required
