We are working with an established institutional investment platform looking to strengthen its investment team in Singapore. This is a senior investment role with responsibility across origination, underwriting, execution and portfolio management, offering significant ownership over transactions and investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and evaluate investment opportunities across Asia Pacific
- Lead financial analysis, due diligence, structuring and underwriting
- Assess investment risks, downside scenarios and relative value
- Develop investment recommendations and present to senior investment committees
- Lead transactions from initial assessment through execution and closing
- Build relationships with financial institutions, sponsors, advisers and other market participants
- Monitor existing investments and identify emerging risks and opportunities
- Provide guidance and transaction leadership to junior investment professionals
- Contribute to broader portfolio and investment strategy discussions
Requirements
- Approximately 10+ years of relevant investment or financing experience
- Background in private credit, structured credit, leveraged finance, special situations, corporate finance or other relevant investment strategies
- Strong financial modelling, credit and investment analysis capabilities
- Demonstrable transaction execution experience
- Ability to independently evaluate and lead complex investments
- Strong commercial judgement and investment mindset
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
