About The Role
A pre-seed and seed stage technology venture capital fund focused on early stage investments across all sectors, with a particular emphasis on the Saudi Arabian tech ecosystem, is seeking a Fund Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for generating and sharing insights that support the investment process, guiding the investment team toward better decisions, more informed stakeholder conversations, and faster understanding of market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary interface for all internal research requests and lead the fund's research initiatives.
- Monitor emerging technology trends and company activity, and produce research reports on specific verticals under investigation.
- Analyze investment opportunities and support the investment team on due diligence, including financial modelling, market research, and financial report analysis.
- Prepare and contribute to investment memos and quarterly strategy reviews.
- Manage and review all third-party research supplier relationships, both existing and new.
- Develop and grow relationships with analysts and relevant stakeholders across the technology ecosystem.
- Build technical proficiency with market data service providers.
- Serve as a resource and support to technology startups that engage with the fund.
Skills & Experience
- CME-1 and CME-4 certifications are required.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in research, consulting, investment banking, strategy, or a corporate development role at a high-growth startup.
- Strong academic background with sound judgment, attention to detail, and analytical skills in areas of high complexity.
- Ability to work autonomously and operate effectively with significant independence.
- Curious and inquisitive by nature, comfortable navigating ambiguous environments.
- Genuine interest in startups, entrepreneurship, investments, and financial analysis, with a passion for research and continuous learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and action-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Prior experience founding a startup — including an unsuccessful one — is considered a strong advantage.
