Job Title: Investment Intern

Job Description

The investment intern will be responsible for supporting the investment team in attending meetings, conducting research, due diligence and performing financial analysis. The ideal candidate should be undertaking university courses in the areas of healthcare/lifesciences/biotechnology and/or its related fields and have a keen interest in investments.

Core Responsibilities

· Assist the investment team to keep track of developments in global macro environment, financial markets, and emerging trends in the healthcare industry. Types of materials include daily financial news sources, magazines, books, materials written by investees, sell-side reports, and other online/offline publications.

· Provide due diligence support including assessing investment opportunities, undertaking macroeconomic research, gathering/consolidating/analyzing data, assisting with building financial models and creation of presentation materials.

· Support in monitoring/analyzing data and metrics of existing portfolios and investments and ensuring data integrity for overall tracking purposes.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree student in healthcare/lifesciences/biotechnology/biomedical sciences or its related fields. MBA students with a prior degree in the areas of healthcare/lifesciences/biotechnology/biomedical sciences will also be considered.

· Usage of AI tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) required. Any finance experience done as part of university minor or as a supplementary course is favoured.

· Strong attention to detail, organization and communication.

· Ability to multi-task and assist in ad-hoc duties other than investment/research related work as assigned from time to time.
