Investment Manager

As Investment Manager, you will lead the strategic deployment of capital into high-impact research and development ventures. This includes identifying, evaluating, and structuring investments that align with innovation priorities, with a focus on multi-industry technology themes and partnerships with research centers and innovative companies.

The role spans the full transaction lifecycle, from sourcing through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and delivering measurable innovation outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

• You will conduct in-depth financial analysis, market research, and risk assessments for potential investments
• You will develop and implement investment theses and execution plans aligned with strategic and financial priorities
• You will structure, negotiate, and close transactional agreements with research entities and external partners
• You will proactively source and assess high-potential investment opportunities through market analysis and strategic networking
• You will monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, advising on adjustments to maximize impact
• You will coordinate investments with leadership to align with broader organizational objectives
• You will contribute to the development of investment strategy by identifying emerging trends, shaping sectoral priorities, and informing long-term capital allocation
• You will ensure rigorous governance, compliance, and reporting throughout the investment lifecycle

Who we're looking for

• You will have 7+ years of investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate development, with a strong focus on deal execution
• You will have proven success in identifying high-potential opportunities and managing complex deals
• You will have strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence expertise
• You will have excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills in dynamic, innovation-driven environments
• You will have ability to interpret and mitigate risks unique to research and advanced technology ventures
• You will have experience presenting investment recommendations at executive or board levels
• You will have a Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field with certifications such as CFA or CPA
