Hays is currently supporting a leading government-backed capital firm with an outstanding reputation in the market to hire an Investment Operations Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute capital calls, distributions, and fund transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Oversee investment portfolio performance.
- Monitor investment cashflows, commitments, and valuations for portfolio investments.
- Ensure adherence to investment policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
- Manage relationships with fund administrators and custodians.
- Manage investor reporting and communication.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, private equity or finance within asset management, PE/VC, fund of funds, SWFs or similar environments.
- Knowledge of Venture Capital/Private Equity Investments (not real estate or public markets).
- Solid understanding of fund structures, capital calls, distributions, and investment lifecycles.
- Familiarity with ILPA Template is a plus.
- Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting principles and basic valuation concepts
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
