Job Description

Job Purpose:

To support and enhance local and foreign investment in the technology sector by developing investment incentives, conducting strategic and analytical studies, and working closely with government entities, ecosystem partners, and investors. The role involves contributing to investment-related strategies, including market assessments, benchmarking, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and specialized studies related to cloud computing, requiring both foundational technical knowledge and prior experience in management consulting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct studies and research on key developments in promoting local and foreign investment within the technology sector.
  • Develop and update frameworks, methodologies, and tools to ensure effective execution of work.
  • Prepare and update policies and procedures related to investment and sectoral activities.
  • Analyze the current state of the technology sector and its sub-sectors, including technology integration within the Kingdom.
  • Assess existing value chains and operational models in the context of available technologies.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including government entities and investors, to identify and assess investment opportunities.
  • Analyze and evaluate investment opportunities, including feasibility studies, financial modeling, risk assessment, and synergy identification.
  • Develop and update the investment plan for the technology sector.
  • Assess the impact of sectoral policies on the overall investment environment.
  • Respond to internal stakeholder inquiries related to the scope of work.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) on related activities.
  • Prepare briefing materials for meetings involving senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and follow up on tasks received from government entities related to the technology sector.
  • Arrange meetings for senior leadership with executives of global technology companies during official business trips.
  • Collaborate with government entities to support major technology companies and introduce them to relevant programs, incentives, and licensing requirements.
  • Support the implementation and follow-up of agreements signed with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and global technology companies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Management Information Systems or Information Security or Artificial Intelligence.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in investment, management consulting, strategy, or a related field.
