Role overview:
We are seeking an Investment Specialist to support Ekthar's investment team in identifying, evaluating, structuring and executing investment opportunities across multiple sectors and geographies.
The successful candidate will bring strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills, combined with hands-on transaction execution experience. The role involves working closely with senior investment professionals, strategic partners and external advisers throughout the investment lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop integrated financial models, valuation analyses and investment return scenarios.
- Evaluate investment opportunities using DCF, comparable transactions, trading multiples and other valuation methodologies.
- Prepare investment memoranda, investment committee presentations and transaction materials.
- Support the structuring and execution of M&A, private equity, joint ventures and co-investment transactions.
- Coordinate financial, commercial, legal and tax due diligence.
- Analyze potential investment structures, including investment funds, holding companies and SPVs.
- Conduct market research, sector analysis and screening of potential investment opportunities.
- Assist with transaction documentation, term sheets and negotiations.
- Coordinate with asset managers, legal advisers, consultants and other professional service providers.
- Monitor transaction progress and maintain investment pipeline reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline. CFA, MBA or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
- 7 – 10years of relevant experience in top-tier consulting firms, investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity or transaction advisory.
- Advanced Excel financial modelling and PowerPoint; strong understanding of valuation, corporate finance and investment structuring.
- Excellent analytical capabilities, attention to detail, communication skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.
