Job Description

Our client is a well-established and highly respected organization in the minerals and metals trading sector, with a strong and longstanding presence across the UAE and the Asian subcontinent. Known for its robust market expertise and strategic growth, the group is now looking to appoint an Investment Manager for its subsidiary business, offering an exciting opportunity to be based in Dubai, UAE.

Salary- 30,000- 40,000 AED

As Manager Investments & Projects, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across the industrial minerals and commodities value chain. This is a high-impact position where you will lead end-to-end deal execution, influence strategic growth decisions, and work closely with senior leadership to drive the Company's long-term financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage comprehensive M&A due diligence, including financial, tax, legal, technical, and environmental assessments
  • Perform in-depth financial analysis, cash flow modelling, valuation, and market research for prospective investments
  • Prepare high-quality investment memoranda, recommendations, and risk assessments for senior management and stakeholders
  • Support capital-raising initiatives by developing teasers, information memorandums, investor presentations, and robust financial models
  • Evaluate financial, operational, and strategic risks associated with transactions
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional deal teams across internal and external stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, financial institutions, and legal advisors
  • Represent the Company in investor meetings, negotiations, and industry forums
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and investment opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Big 4 advisory, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development
  • Master's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting (MBA, CA, CFA preferred)
  • Prior exposure to mining, metals, or commodities value chains is a strong advantage
  • Demonstrated track record of executing mid-market investments and M&A transactions

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and presentation capabilities
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proven relationship management and stakeholder engagement expertise
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work in fast-paced environments
