Confidential Opportunity – iOS Developer | Abu Dhabi

We are hiring an experienced iOS Developer for a confidential technology product team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The role will focus on developing and maintaining high-scale native iOS applications, with particular emphasis on live video streaming, media delivery, application performance, and real-time troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
Build new features and custom components from the ground up.
Work on live streaming and video-based applications and optimize media delivery workflows.
Work with HLS/video streaming architecture, playback performance and optimization.
Diagnose and resolve memory leaks, crashes, performance bottlenecks and other complex issues using Xcode and Instruments.
Perform advanced profiling, debugging and performance analysis.
Troubleshoot and tune real-time applications for stability, responsiveness and scalability.
Collaborate with backend, product and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Apply appropriate software architecture and design patterns such as MVVM, MVP or VIPER.
Develop and maintain unit tests and follow engineering best practices.
Work with REST APIs, JSON/XML and local persistence technologies such as Core Data/SQLite.
Contribute to CI/CD and release processes using Git and Fastlane.

Must-Have Skills

5+ years of professional native iOS development experience.
Strong hands-on expertise in Swift and SwiftUI.
Good working knowledge of Objective-C.
Proven experience with live streaming, video streaming, OTT Platform or media delivery.
Strong understanding of HLS and video streaming architecture.
Advanced experience with Xcode Instruments, profiling and debugging.
Experience troubleshooting real-time application performance.
Experience developing applications at significant scale / millions of users.
Strong understanding of iOS architecture and design patterns.
Experience with REST APIs and JSON.
Experience with Core Data / SQLite.
Experience with Git and Fastlane.
Exposure to WebRTC/HLS/IVS is a Must
Experience writing unit tests and using iOS testing frameworks.
