Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international commodities trading group looking to strengthen their Middle East team with an Iron Ore Operator to support the physical trading desk in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Manage the operational execution of physical iron ore trades from contract through to delivery and settlement.
- Coordinate shipments with suppliers, buyers, shipping companies, port agents and inspection companies.
- Handle and review trade documentation including contracts, invoices, letters of credit, bills of lading and inspection certificates.
- Monitor vessel schedules, laycan windows and logistics timelines to ensure smooth cargo movements.
- Liaise closely with traders, finance and risk teams to resolve operational issues and maintain accurate trade records.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum of 37 years of experience in physical iron ore or dry bulk commodity operations.
- Experience managing vessel shipments, bulk cargo logistics and trade documentation.
- Strong understanding of the operational lifecycle of physical commodities trades.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cargoes simultaneously.
- Based in Dubai with Arabic language skills preferred.
