About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Irrigation Foreman to support our Irrigation Engineer in the daily execution of project tasks. This role involves supervising, coordinating, and ensuring the quality delivery of irrigation activities across all project phases—from mobilization to demobilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all irrigation activities to ensure timely and accurate completion as per project scope.
- Manage changes in project scope by documenting and communicating them effectively.
- Maintain, communicate, and update project schedules alongside the Planner.
- Assist in obtaining material and work approvals from Quality Control and Clients.
- Review project documents and schedules to understand work scopes and timelines.
- Monitor resource usage to avoid over-consumption and ensure resource availability.
- Ensure safe handling and proper storage of delivered materials and equipment.
- Oversee the mobilization and demobilization of project resources.
- Conduct inspections at various project stages and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and procedures.
- Report and rectify non-conformances and assist in obtaining client approvals for activities.
- Maintain daily work reports and ensure accuracy in man-hour tracking.
- Provide updates and support the Planner in baseline program adjustments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in irrigation projects or similar construction roles.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, construction codes, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to coordinate with project teams, clients, and consultants effectively.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and timely project delivery.
