ISIPCA Intern

Job Summary

This internship is designed to help a Year 3 IFF ISIPCA student evolve into a more market-aware, technically skilled, and professionally mature future perfumer. Through a combination of creative training, fragrance formulation practice, category immersion, consumer understanding, scientific exposure, and ongoing mentorship, you will gain hands-on experience across the fragrance creation process. Working alongside Scent Design & Creation and cross-functional teams, you will build the knowledge, capabilities, and business understanding needed to support your development toward a successful career in perfumery.

Where You'll Make a Difference

• Support multiple local and regional projects simultaneously across the perfumery organization.
• Contribute to creative fragrance projects under the guidance of experienced perfumers and fragrance professionals.
• Complete a creative exercise (the brief) to develop technical and creative perfumery skills.
• Assist with fragrance evaluations and sensory learning activities to strengthen olfactory capabilities.
• Learn and apply laboratory best practices, including safety, organization, and sample handling procedures.
• Support the Scent Design Group team on a variety of initiatives to deepen understanding of fragrance development.
  
  

What Makes You The Right Fit

• Currently enrolled in Year 3 of the ISIPCA Scent Design and Creation program
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Additional local language skills relevant to the location are an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and openness to feedback and development opportunities.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment while following established safety and quality standards.
