IT Business Analyst (Product Operations)

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst (Product Operations) to support the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of digital products and systems. You will work closely with business users, product teams and technical teams to manage requirements, operational issues and product enhancements.

• Working Location: Central
• Salary Package: Up to $9,000 (basic) + AWS
• Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and operational requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Support incident and service request triage, including coordination with technical teams for resolution.
• Analyse application issues, user feedback and operational data to identify recurring problems and improvement opportunities.
• Manage and prioritise product enhancement requests and operational backlog.
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Support UAT, release activities and post-deployment validation.
• Maintain SOPs, process documentation, user guides and operational reports.
• Coordinate across business, product, engineering and support teams to ensure smooth product operations.
• Track issues, risks, actions and service performance.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Operations Analyst, Application Support Analyst or similar role.
• Experience supporting digital products, applications or IT systems.
• Good understanding of requirements gathering, process analysis and incident management.
• Experience with Agile environments and tools such as Jira and Confluence is advantageous.
• Experience with UAT, system enhancements and production support.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
